Dense Blazing Star

Dense Blazing Star has powerful rose-purple flowers.  This species blooms from the top of the spike down between June and September and can grow from 2 to 6 feet tall.  It is native to the eastern United States and perfers moist, well-drained soil.  The seed may take up to 3 years to fully establish itself.  This flower works great as a cut flower in a bouquet.
